Fritz Grampelhuber
The Steegwirt is not only visited by locals. Guests from all over the world who travel to the UNESCO World Heritage of Hallstatt-Dachstein / Salzkammergut region are welcome to come here. Fritz jun. and Tamino Grampelhuber have taken the helm in the family business. Both of them manage to combine a traditional cuisine with the acquired abilities of high-end-restaurants.
The years with Karl & Rudi Obauer in Werfen were a determining factor in his culinary skills. In addition to the guests in the Steegwirt, Fritz Grampelhuber jun. is also responsible for the well-being of the Austrian football national team.
